When I was young, I once competed in a marathon




I started from a small village about (8) miles away from the city where I live, along a road with little traffic. I had to run past the wild children. There were a lot of people during the trip, but gradually, those who came in front and those who came behind were separated, and occasionally the village children stopped by to cheer them on. You can run alone on the asphalt road where there is usually no one around.

It can be said that the journey of (8) miles is not very far, but for me who is only (10-11) years old, it is not close. It was an adventure that I ran with fear. I didn't have any running shoes yet, so I ran barefoot. Running barefoot on the tarmac may be a surprise to some of you today, but you are just playing and playing like a child, so it is normal.

I have already heard from the beginning that if you run at full speed in the beginning of a long distance race, you will tire early and not be able to continue running. A month before the competition, I also practiced in advance. So I ran slowly and steadily from the start.

(3) When I got about 3 miles, I was quite tired. His feet have become quite stiff. I've also heard that it's hard to get back to running after stopping completely, so I don't sit down and stop. When I'm very tired, I slow down and walk for a bit, then continue on my journey. When you are tired enough, you can run back and continue your journey.

(4) When I got about 4 miles, it became enough that I didn't want to carry my limbs. When the car that escorted those who could no longer run came near, I had to think. Is it okay if I stop here and go by car? If you go, you give up and lose. If you don't go back, if you can't continue your journey, you may be in trouble alone on the forest road. Even though I didn't want to carry my limbs, I started to refuse to go after I gave up.

Soon after leaving the car, I began to wonder if I had made a mistake. It would be good if I went. Not so tired. The feeling of helplessness and hopelessness is worse. Just as I was feeling alone, a bicycle appeared. When you look at it, you'll be watching your friend from school watching his own race on a bicycle. When you see yourself in a bad situation, it encourages you. My friend is going to run away. I really need it. But just by his words, he got stronger. If you can't run, I will call you. As soon as I realized that at least I was no longer helpless, my dirty mind suddenly disappeared and I started to run.

So I run, He followed with a bicycle from the side, By the time we got to about 6 miles, even with someone cheering me on from the sidelines, I couldn't move forward. The car that escorted those who couldn't run has also returned the next week. They are consulted there. How do they do it? Will you go by car? Shall I be called by bicycle? Keep running?

will arrive I know it's close. I can't carry my limbs anymore. After finally coming this far, I stopped giving up. If he couldn't run, he decided to walk one step at a time and kept walking.

It's getting close to the city, so it's becoming a pedestrian. My friend who was riding a bike had already gone where he needed to go, and I was just jogging for a while, and I wasn't even close to people. He continued to say that he didn't care anymore, but the person didn't care anymore.

So, when I heard the shouts of those cheering for the runners near the entrance of the city, I was suddenly panting. The dirty things disappeared as if they were guilty, and he started to run back quickly with great effort. Because of the encouragement, It is also because of the consciousness that I know that I have arrived.

I didn't want to carry my limbs at the beginning, but I didn't even know that I ran on my own for the remaining (1) mile in the city. I didn't even know I was tired, but I finally managed to get in on time.

Looking back, I can't believe the journey that I've come to after thinking about giving up many times.

Actually, I want to talk about the importance of motivation and habit. I said this because I remembered my childhood.

In order to reach a desired destination, motivation is important. The habit of being able to do what needs to be done slowly and regularly is also important. The need is... On the other hand, looking for motivation to give strength, On the other hand, there is work to be done, The work you should do is to continue slowly and regularly.

No matter how small a step it is, By combining these steps one step at a time, you will reach your final destination. If you look back one more time, you will see that it is because of this small step that you have taken before that you have traveled so incredibly far.
